Our school is a calm and nurturing place, where children enjoy learning and feel part of our special community. The school has been an integral part of the village since 1849 and we enjoy strong links with St Peter's, our neighbouring church.

At Slinfold, we passionately believe in providing our children with a memorable and exciting 7 years of primary education. We have high expectations for the behaviour, personal development and academic attainment of our children and we place great emphasis on the importance of working in partnership with our parents.

Our curriculum is exciting and engaging, with enrichment opportunities introduced to bring the learning to life. Forest School is a key part of our curriculum and every child within the school gets to experience this provision each year.

We have 5 mixed-age classes, covering the 7 years of primary education, and also have a successful Pre-School which many of our children have attended. Many families who join us are looking for a small nurturing environment for their children which is different to what larger schools are able to provide. We currently have spaces available in most year groups and would love to welcome you and your children into our kind and nurturing community.

Our Christian values are lived and breathed on a daily basis and they provide a framework for how we interact with different members of our community. These 4 core values are 'Responsibility', 'Respect', ‘Compassion’ and 'Courage'.
