House Teams
House Tokens
House points form our whole school reward system here at Slinfold Primary School. It encourages a team ethos across the school and allows children of all ages to have a common goal.
Every child, from Reception to Year 6, is sorted into one of our four houses, names after the 4 Patron Saints of the United Kingdom: St George, St Patrick, St Andrew and St David.
We hold a termly house competition whereby the children have an opportunity to design the house logo for that term.
Our House Token system aims to:-
- Reward positive behaviour
- Develop a stronger sense of community
- Encourage engagement and motivation within school
House points are given out as a recognition of achievement to individual children. They will include things such as:
- Demonstration of our learning behaviours
- Illustrating our school values
- Being polite and well-mannered to those around them
When a child earns a house token, they will post their token into the token collector for their house. House tokens will be counted at the end of each week, and the winning house will be announced in Friday’s collective worship.
