Dear Prospective Parents and Carers,

Thank you for expressing an interest in sending your child to Slinfold CE Primary School. I hope that visiting our website and viewing our school video, which can be found on the 'Welcome' page, helps you to gain a good understanding of our caring and nurturing school community.

Slinfold has 5 classes to cover the 7 year groups and if your child joins us in Reception then they will join Hamble Class. This is a mixed Reception and Year One class that has the potential to include 20 children from Reception and 10 from Year One.

Hamble Class work closely with Medway Class which is our mixed Year One and Year Two class. They follow the same topics, mix together for certain learning sessions, and their building has the feel of a lovely and small infant school.

Hamble Class are fortunate that they have a beautiful covered outdoor space in which to learn as well as direct access to the playground. This outdoor learning space is linked to our Pre-School and the children in Hamble love seeing the younger children while they are learning.
