Last Friday the NSPCC delivered their Speak out,Stay safe asembly to share information with your child about how they can keep themselves safe from harm and get help if they have any worries. We also supported the NSPCC charity by wearing green for Buddy. A big thank you to all the children and parents who donated, we raised a total of £138.17. Well done to everyone!
On Tuesday the 1st October an amazing Paralympic wheel-chair rugby player visited our school to talk about the difficulties he had to overcome to be able to play rugby. He taught us how to persevere, to keep going even when things get hard in life. He also taught us how to challenge ourselves and set goals. Aaron Phipps’ favourite sport is wheelchair rugby. He has also climbed Kilimanjaro with his dad and a team of friends to make sure he got up safely. It was an amazing task for someone who has lost both legs. He inspired everyone.
