Our value for life for this half term is perseverance. We have been thinking about how we all have to try our hardest and even when we feel like giving up we need to keep going to succeed. We have talked about people who can be role models for us and we will be celebrating our achievements.
Well done if you have sold your raffle tickets already. You can always ask for extra books if you need some more; just ask one of the committee members. Thank you for all the donations last week. More donations of jam jars full of sweets or small toys and chocolate for the chocolate tombola would still be greatly appreciated. We would also be very grateful for more volunteers to man stalls. Please can you let any committee member know if you can help out? Your offers will be very gratefully received.
I am delighted to inform you that we have been awarded the West Sussex Dyslexia Aware School Award. A letter will be coming later this week with more details, but I would like to say a very big thank you to Mrs Mullineux for all her hard work and dedication. She had to put an enormous amount of time and effort into collating all the information and evidence required. As a school we were already working on the standards we had to meet, so this confirms our commitment to good dyslexia practice.
