Flight to Australia!

12/11/2017

Hamble, Medway and Arun have finally returned back from their trip to Australia from last week. They all had a great time and the inflight entertainment was superb! The year 6 ground handlers did a great job with their bags and the cabin crew worked very hard with the in flight refreshments! The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learnt many facts about Australia and the culture. Here are some photos of their flight.

Netball tournament

On Wednesday our netball team played in a tournament. We lost the first game against Shelley A-team but then won against Billingshurst B-team. The girls played well as a team; they demonstrated great passing skills and understanding of the game. The members of the team were: Molly, Olivia A, Olivia K, Emily, Verity, Coco and Lillie. Our coach, Mrs Harvey was a fantastic team motivator and we are very lucky to have her on board! All the girls were excellent representatives for the school and we are looking forward to the next tournament at the end of November.

Respect and Reverence

2/11/2017

Our Christian Value is Respect and Reverence. The children will be looking at how they can show respect for each other and adults in the school community and how they respect and value their own and other people’s belongings. They will also learn about how Christians respect God’s greatness and acknowledge how the world was created. Aspects of awe and wonder, surrender and sacrifice may also be covered in class
